Boredom strikes again!
I like to bake. I like to decorate. I don't like to be bored... thus, boredom baking strikes! For this round I did a 2-tiered cake with some new flavors. Waiting on the hubs to test it out tomorrow to see if it passes inspection. Anyway, on one side we have blue stuff and the other is a tree.
Since it was just me goofing off I didn't put a lot of time into smoothing the icing, just wanted to practice piping and designing.

Vine practice...
I do a lot of boredom baking/practice. This cake is red velvet- the filling is cream cheese and the icing is a cream cheese butter cream hybrid. The vines/flowers are also practice and a visual for a consultation I have in April (HI!). I made a "T" out of the vines/swirly things because it is for some friends of mine with a last name beginning with T.

Boredom baking... Wedding edition
Boredom this weekend- after having to cancel my cakes due to being sick I needed to do something. I went and got stuff to plant seeds and what have you and then saw the weather is supposed to get chilly tomorrow- so out the window that boredom buster went and this cake was born.
