Piano key cake!

This cake is for a Senior Recital! Becky approached me and we meshed together ideas and this cake baby was the outcome. Her sister loves the wine-burgundy color and she wanted to tie in the music aspect. The cake is all yellow, bottom tier is vanilla icing- top is chocolate. :)

Cherry blossom Birthday!

Birthday cake for a member of Matt's family... decided to go spring-ish and cherry blossoms... interesting to see a cake on an actual plate and not cake base. :)

Vine practice...

I do a lot of boredom baking/practice. This cake is red velvet- the filling is cream cheese and the icing is a cream cheese butter cream hybrid. The vines/flowers are also practice and a visual for a consultation I have in April (HI!). I made a "T" out of the vines/swirly things because it is for some friends of mine with a last name beginning with T.

Shower cake... the bridal color is clover so I worked that in best I could. First time making Calla lilies!

Aquarium theme cake... all creatures are made out of fondant. :) I love doing cakes for boys, I've had a lot of baby colors and girly things lately so it was nice to switch it up!

Shastina is having a baby! And she has the guts to wait until delivery to know the gender so this cake was designed around her shower decorations and uni-sex colors. This cake was a lot of fun!
